Passing the torch: New SES President needed
During the meeting, our current President, Caroli Leiman, announced her decision to step down after five incredible years of service. Caroli has been part of SES for over 20 years, and her dedication has been instrumental in fostering a vibrant and resilient Estonian community. As we look ahead, we are seeking a new President to lead SES into its next chapter. If you or someone you know would be a great fit, please reach out—we’d love to hear from you! I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to every member of SES for your dedication and uplifting spirit, which have kept the Seattle Estonian community thriving through both the highs and the challenges. Having been part of SES for over 20 years, I can’t begin to count the wonderful friendships I’ve made and the incredible experiences I’ve had. Serving as SES President for the past five years has been an honor and a privilege, and I deeply appreciate the trust you’ve placed in me. However, it’s time for me to step aside and let new voices and fresh ideas take the lead. The show must go on, and I’m confident that with the passion of this community, it will continue to flourish. As I step into my final year in this role, we are actively seeking new leadership, including the next SES President. If you or someone you know would be a great fit, please reach out—we’d love your help in shaping the next chapter for SES! - Caroli Leiman, SES President
